I am delighted to be invited to exhibit at Upton House and Gardens, National Trust Property near Banbury, for a second year.
Last year, our brief was to create an atmosphere of the period when the Bearsted family first took up residence in the 1920’s. There was certainly an Art Deco influence present, which was reflected in our Work, although in a very 21st Century style.
This year, Upton’s theme sees the changes which Lord and Lady Bearsted made, both to the Architecture of the House and to the Design of the Gardens, influenced by Kitty Lloyd-Jones.
"Modern Days Modern Ways". Join me for my exciting interpretation of garden paintings in the New Squash Court at Upton House and Gardens.
As a tribute to 100 years of Women's Suffrage, experience a celebration of four women pushing the boundaries of Expression and Creativity in the 21st Century. I shall also be showing some Abstracts which reflect the gardens, particularly the Mirror Pool. We are four local artists who regularly exhibit together all over the country.
